My name is Jamie Dockins and I moved to San Diego more than 6 years ago from northern Idaho to pursue a career in aviation.
I will always remember my first flight as we flew up the Pend 'Oreille River and landed at a private airport on the Pend 'Oreille Lake. The private runway was owned by his friend Dr.Bird, and he showed us his amazing collection of airplanes. After that day, flying was stuck in my head. I had officially "caught the flying bug". After many twists and turns in my life I finally began my flight training and was able to solo on my 21st birthday! What a perfect birthday gift!
I love living here in San Diego and love teaching people how to fly. It is a very rewarding job and I would love to help you on your journey to becoming a pilot.
